Vancouver, BC, Canada. Sep 2017. As part of the agenda of the educational mission to visit BC organized by our company for the Consortium of Mexican Universities (CUMex); the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between CUMex and the BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) was signed. This important event was celebrated after a working meeting between both institutions where were discussed the opportunities and challenges that International Education offers for Canada and Mexico and how both countries can keep working together to increase their exchanges, academic mobility and joint programs.

During this event, we were honored to count with the presence of the Consul General of Mexico in Vancouver, Mrs. Berenice Diaz, Dr. Randall Martin, BCCIE executive director, senior officials from both institutions, and our Director, Juan Navarro who was the head of this educational mission. This new MOA between a Canadian and Mexican Institution will offer benefits for professors, students and overall academic community and it will make easier the exchange of knowledge, collaboration and synergies among them. The BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) plays a vital role in facilitating BC’s International Education engagement to the mutual benefit of BC and country partners whereas CUMex involves thirty (30) higher level institutions distinguished for serving more than 93% of enrolment of advanced technical degrees, associate degrees and bachelor degrees of high quality programs in Mexico.
