Juan Salvador Navarro Estrada
Vast experience in international business, economics, finance, international trade, applied research and higher education. Work experience as economist for 10 years at the Central Bank of Mexico doing analysis and research about Mexican states and their regions. More than 10 years experience as an associate professor in business schools of prestigious universities such as Monterrey Tech, Panamericana University and Royal Roads University teaching business and finance courses. Member of he Canadian International Council (CIC), Business mentor at Futurpreneur Canada, member of the Free Trade Zone Committee with the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA), Expert of the Panel organized by the World Bank Institute to assess entrepreneurial projects in Mexico. Active member in different organizations, member of the Greater Victoria Chamber of commerce, founding president of the Society of Mexican Talent in British Columbia, founder of the Mexi-Can Forum: Innovation, Education and Entrepreneurship, a gathering to bring together leaders and experts from Canada and Mexico to share experiences and analyze strategic topics. Former member of the Mexican Institute of Executives in Finance (IMEF) where led different positions as a board member in the Guadalajara Chapter. He hold two Master's degrees, one in Global Management and the other in Finance, and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. Diplomas in economics and public finance by the World Bank Institute.
