3rd. edition of The Mexi-Can Forum: Nafta without Walls

CMX Partnerships is proudly a strategic partner of the third edition of the Mexi-Can Forum, a flagship event of the Society of Mexican Talent in British Columbia also known as "Red Global MX of BC". This year topic is "Nafta without walls" and it will be held on thursday, september 7th, 2017 at the UBC Robson Square Auditorium, Vancouver, BC from 8am to 2 pm. The agenda is composed by leaders, academics and scholars who will be presenting their analysis and insights about NAFTA from the perspectives from key industries. Our Director, Juan Navarro, who is the founding president of this initiative, will be presenting and serving as the monitor of the Panel NAFTA Benefits. All the information here.


International Forum: Innovation Match 2017

We are glad to announce that CMX Partnerships will participate again in the Innovation Match Forum.This is one of the most important forums in Mexico which brings together more than 600 leaders and experts from more than 30 nations to discuss about innovation applied to all economic sectors. This time, our director will be presenting his research about international trade and innovation applied to business and he will also participating in one workshop titled "innovation strategies and policies in Mexico"

Educational mission to British Columbia

We are glad to announce that CMX Partnerships is organizing an educational mission to British Columbia. This international initiative will be held from March 14-17, 2017. The mission is composed for several meetings with leading universities from the province as well of one meeting with Mitacs Canada and one roundtable hosted by the BC Council for International Education. Hispanic Literature Tour 2016

We would like to say big thanks to all the participants and supporters of the Hispanic Literature Tour 2016. It has been an amazing event thanks to all of you and where we had a great participation. Through this Tour we visited universities such as UBC, UVIC and KPU, as well Libraries and more. The most important is that we had the opportunity to promote and talk about the hispanic literature and the work of the prestigious Mexican writer Juan Carlos González Alarcon.

What about the Hispanic Literature tour is?

According to our mission related to connect and build bridges between Canada and Mexico, we organized the Hispanic Literature Tour in British Columbia. This was carried out from September 26th to 30th in different locations such as libraries, schools, universities and cultural facilities. We did this initiative with the goal of promoting culture and Hispanic literature in society. This initiative has been possible to carried out for the wonderful support of different institutions from Mexico and Canada which believe that literature is a great bridge to connect these two amazing nations.

Our guest writer for this tour 2016 is the prestigious mexican author Juan Carlos Gonzalez Alarcon.

The Mexi-Can Forum: Innovation, Education and Entrepreneurship: 2015

Juan Navarro, Director of CMX Partnerships, in his role of founding president of the Society of Mexican Talent in British Columbia organized succesfully the Mexi-Can Forum: Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This bilateral Event aimed to promote the transmission of knowledge, to share experiences and to bring together leaders from private and public sectors to boost collaborations in these three strategic areas. The event was a great success with the attendance around 200 participants from private Institutions related to business, education and innovation from British Columbia. This forum had as speakers ministers, CEOs and leaders from Canada and Mexico and it was carried out in the facilities of UBC Robson Square in Vancouver, BC.

Promoting International Trade

CMX Partnerships organized an event to promote international trade and provide more information about opportunities abroad for Canadian Companies. The event was focused in the opportunities Canada-Mexico and the attendees were people related to this sector. The speakers were the Consul General of Mexico in Vancouver, the trade commisioner for the western region of Promexico, experts of international trade and our director. The event was carried out in the school of Business of Simon Fraser University in downtown Vancouver.
